Sootblower gear box has left-hand type and right-hand type. The walking roller is fixed on the walking box. The double-shaft gear box is driven by a three-phase motor, the drive gear on one end of the shaft is engaged with the rack on the girder to achieve  the axial movement of the walking box.
Since the blower must rotate at a certain angle for blowing each time , the sweep track of the blower is not repeated each time.
